Mercy will take anyone. There were people in my classes whose idea of literary criticism was quoting bible verses, didn't know how to use an apostrophe, and would fit in perfectly in the community college remedial English courses they are supposedly now qualified to teach. Mercy doesn't even ask for a writing sample from English majors - what does that tell you? Mind you, if you so much as look at their webpage they will hound you endlessly, and if they manage to suck you in they'll leave you two years older, 20,000 dollars in debt, unemployable, depressed and bitter.

I am a transfer student. I had my transcrpts sent to Mercy college. I had pretty good grades and all of my courses were transferred. Mercy accepted my clep courses which was great, 12 credts. They offer many scholarships, academic and need based. You must check the long list of scholarships.
